It's going to be a boy!!!!

We had our 20 week ultrasound last week where we found out that baby is very healthy and is a boy!!!! We are thrilled and can't wait to start decorating the room and getting ready for our little one to join us in a few more months! (The ultrasound picture is of the baby's head with the forehead on the left.)
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. We enjoyed a very relaxing and fun 4 days with my family at the cabin in Arnold. Thank you to all the Dragovich's who made the long drive!!! And, thank you to Darsi and Mandy for joining us for Thanksgiving dinner! We had a great time and appreciated getting to spend so much time with family!

We all went for a walk at Big Trees State Park on Saturday but unfortunately Captain wasn't allowed on the trail we wanted to hike so he and I enjoyed a little stroll on another trail together. He was a good sport for a photo shoot but really wasn't too pleased and just wanted to go play!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is enjoying getting ready for Christmas!!!! Love to all!!!

Thanks to Billa and Jen for comments on the last post! I love comments!!!!

Soccer player?

I am starting to think that our little baby is going to grow up to be quite the soccer player with all the kicking and moving about that has been going on the past few days! I was feeling movement every so often but a major growth spurt must have occurred over the weekend because now every time I sit down the baby sure lets me know that moving is much better! And the baby is only going to get bigger and stronger, oh my! Just a reminder on how cute our little one is...

I am also thinking that all the wonderful toys and baby stuff little Cion (a.k.a. Jill and Connie) let us borrow need to stay in the garage until the baby comes, otherwise, I end up with this...

Someone forgot to tell Josh that the little caterpillar tunnels are for LITTLE kids to crawl though and BIG kids can get stuck!!! Whatever am I going to do with another one???

Hope everyone is doing well!

San Diego

I got to spend an awesome weekend in San Diego this past weekend with all my Chapman girlies!!! Saturday morning was Brandi's very cute baby shower (nice job Stacie!!!) and then a fun girls only slumber party at Jill's beautiful new house! It was great to see all the Chapman girlies again and have a weekend full of fun, laughter, and reminising. I loved getting to see Brandi's BIG baby bump and Mary's just getting started baby bump. Jill's new house in Alpine was beautiful as well and dinner was delicious. I wish I had pictures to share but I didn't take any because Stacie and Brandi were so good about pictures.

Monday was full of baby fun with Crystal and Lucas coming to visit for the day! It is amazing to see how much Lucas has grown in the past few months and how active he is. He had a great time trying to follow Captain around the house and yard and learning how to walk! I can't believe he took 5-6 steps a few times before a little nose dive into his mommy's arms!

Captain kept trying to get Lucas to throw his ball for him but Lucas never quite got the hint! Maybe a few more years Captain!!!

Guess that's about all for now! We are looking forward to a fun-filled four days at the cabin for Thanksgiving!!!! Hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving!!!! Love to all!!!!

Stacie and Steve were here!

Yea, I am actually remembering to post a blog shortly after a fun weekend! Our good friends, Stacie and Steve, came up from Long Beach for a fun-filled football weekend. Friday evening was spent just hanging out and having fun, mainly with Stacie and Josh reminicing 90's rap, complete with sing-alongs. (Stacie - Remember that I always have the video I can post on YouTube!!!) On Saturday evening, we went to the Cal vs. Oregon State game which thankfully was much cooler than the last game (Cal vs. UCLA) but unfortunately did not end the same way for the Bears. At least Stacie and Steve went home happy for their Beavs! Today we enjoyed a trip up to Apple Hill for some very yummy apple cider, walking pie, apple crisp, and apple pie to bring home. Plus lots of beautiful scenery, yummy smells of the outdoors, and wonderful company!

We also introduced Stacie and Steve to the awesome spinny thing at the parks here in Folsom. If anyone else would like to be introduced, we would be happy to share with you!!!

We hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the wonderful holidays coming up!!! Love to all!
