So sweet.... James just stopped playing trains and came over to me on the couch to tell me, "Mommy, I need to have a banana and orange juice so my legs don't hurt in the middle of the night. (Because he rode his scooter tonight.) Okay? Okay?" "Okay honey." "And no water in the juice. Okay, Mommy! Okay, Mommy! Okay!!!" His face was the most priceless part of the whole thing! Josh and I couldn't help but laugh at him!
And Josh told me the cutest little story from the other day... The conversation went something like this:
Josh: "Do you know what the lady at Savemart told me the other day?"
Me: "No, what honey?"
Josh: "I was buying beer and I asked the lady, 'Don't you need my ID?' And she told me, 'No, the silver tips in your hair gave it away!' I need to get a hair cut!"
Me: "Honey, it's called Clairol!"
Poor Joshie!!!!

Baby Slade #3
A brief update on Baby Slade #3... My baby bump is growing and growing and growing on a daily basis! Here is the latest little picture of the growing belly taken this week. I am now 21 1/2 weeks and simply amazed that I am already half way! I can't wait for my newest little bundle of joy to be here but I know there is still so much to do before baby comes!
We had the 20 week ultrasound last week and got to see more pictures of precious little one! The baby looks absolutely perfect (what else would you expect!)
And the most fun part of all of it... Josh felt the baby move for the first time last night! Baby Slade has been moving more and more every day and it's always so much fun to share that awesome experience with Josh!
Hope everyone is doing well! Love to all!!!
House Update...
Just a quick update on our house sale... I think I mentioned a while ago that we put the house on the market with the hopes of finding something a little bigger with a little more backyard. Well, the quick house sale that we were expecting lasted a little longer and now 2 1/2 months later, we are finally in escrow!!!! We are so exciting not to have to clean the house every other night for showings and am so ready to bring the toys back into the house instead of having them in the 100 degree garage! We are not necessarily looking forward to all the packing and moving but know it will be worth it in the long run! Now the goal is to find a new house to buy before we having to be out of this one... or find a rental to move into in the meantime! Always lots of fun going on around here! I'll try to keep you all posted on what comes next!

What a Wonderful Sunday!!!!
What a wonderful Sunday we all had today!!! Of course, Josh said he would have enjoyed a little more relaxing but not much relaxing happens with 2 toddlers running around!!! :-) Here are a few pictures from our wonderful day...
Jack and Josh started their morning with a little walk to the grocery store for a few things, including a few donut holes!!! Meanwhile, James and I got to have some special time snuggling on his floor and reading library books. Once everyone was home, we all enjoyed a delicious breakfast of eggs, sausage, english muffin, and fruit! And then a little quiet time reading the Sunday ads, playing alphabet games on the computer, and making banana bread....
Jack took a little snooze in the middle of reading the ads!!!
James playing ABC games and Josh enjoying his ads!
Next came a little craft time for the boys... I decided to be adventurous and let Jack paint too! It could have been worse but he did get new clothes after the adventure!
James loved getting to paint a birdhouse for Gaga and said that Jack's birdhouse was for G.G.
Craft time was followed by a little warm, fresh baked banana bread and a little fruit. Snack of champions!
When did my sweet, precious boys get so big!?!?!?!?
We then ventured out to Lake Natoma for a little fun in the sun with some of the families from my mommy's group. The kids all gathered around to sing "Happy Birthday" to Miss Lauren and then enjoy a brownie compliments of Miss Megan!
The kiddos loved getting to play in the sand and water for hours!!!!
A kayak trips were made with a kayak full of toddlers! They were all great and loved it!!!
At one point we loaded all the kiddos into the kayaks for a cute picture! I had no idea that there were 14 kids ages 3 and under there! It was definitely a fun, enjoyable time, especially for the number of kids present!
Josh and I were hoping for two amazing naps from two very tired boys after hours of playing in the sand, water, and sun! We were WRONG!!!! Jack napped for almost two hours with a wake up in the middle and James didn't nap! How did that happen??? Thankfully, he did play quietly in his room for an hour so we had a little quiet time for the house before all the fun started up again!
After "nap time" we went back down to the river (a different part) to enjoy a little walk/tricycle ride along the river. (Aka: get out of the house so we could show it AGAIN! So tired of that!) Since we thought the people were still at our house, we visited Jamba Juice for dinner...
I think James had a little brain freeze here! But he loved it regardless!!!
Jack was such a big boy sitting in his own chair and loving his Jamba Juice! Again, when did my little baby grow up so much!!! (FYI: Jack's new favorite trick is climbing onto the kitchen chairs and helping himself to an orange from the table or whatever else he wants! Not ready for this!)
Hey, there I am! What a little goof-ball my little man is!
All in all, a wonderful day! I couldn't ask for anything more!!! I hope everyone else had a wonderful Sunday too! Love to all!

Folsom Zoo with Micah
Just after getting home from Maine, James wanted to see some of his friends who he was missing. We called Micah's family to see if they wanted to go to the Folsom Zoo with us but his little sister was sick... so we asked if Micah could come along with us and his mommy said, "yes!" James was thrilled! James and Micah had their car seats "in the trunk" together (aka way back seat) and had a great time! We started with some park play time and a little picnic, then headed over to the zoo for a little while, and then off to ride on the last trip of the little train before home for a nap. Here are a few cute pictures from the zoo...
All three of the boys... I could only handle two on their own so poor Jack had to stay in the stroller!
Micah and James are taller than a black bear!!!

Light Rail Trip to the Train Museum
A few weeks ago, the boys and I adventured to the train museum in Old Town Sacramento. We hopped on the light rail train in Folsom and made the hour trip to the Downtown Sacramento station where we walked a block to the train museum. The boys were wonderful on the light rail and had a wonderful time!!! Here are a few cute pictures from the day....
James and Jack waiting so patiently for the light rail. James did a GREAT job of holding onto the stroller without even being asked. (Thank you Reesha for teaching him that!)
The boys always love "talking on the phones" at the train museum. So cute to watch them listen to each phone as they go down the line!
Jack trying to take the phone with him.
OOOhhhhh!!!! Jack really liked this nice, shiny train!
How incredibly cute is this picture! My heart melts when they are sweet to each other!!! James was leading Jack over to the Thomas train tables.
Jack did a great job playing at the train tables this time!

James loved the fact that they had a Chuggington table in addition to the Thomas tables this time. With lots of warnings, James even left the tables without a fit and we got back to the train just in time for a picnic lunch on the way home!
All in all, an absolutely wonderful day!!! They boys were fabulous and we had a wonderful time! A big thank you to Papa and Gaga for our season pass to the train museum for Christmas!
