SNOW!!!!!

Did you know it snows in Folsom!?!??!?! Neither did I! Well, I guess it doesn't really snow in the real, let's have a snowball fight sense, but a little did fall from the sky! On Sunday night it was cold enough for us to get about an inch of snow overnight which was very exciting! Even more exciting was the few inches of snow that fell in Roseville where I work and the snow that stayed on the ground until about 11am that morning! It really made it feel like December and the holidays, I just wish it stayed around a little longer for us to enjoy!

In other news this week... I sold my car. :-( It was sad to see it drive away for the last time after we have gone so many places with that car over the past 6 years but it was time. I am hoping to get a car that can handle the snow (since it snows all the time here! just kidding! for the snow in Arnold and Lake Tahoe!) and will be a true soccer mom car in the next few years. NOT A MINIVAN!!!! but a mid-sized SUV hopefully. We will see where the search takes us and let you all know what we find!

Josh and I are staying busy getting ready for the holidays and getting stuff done around the house to get ready for baby. Everyone tells us that home improvements will not happen once baby arrives so we (mainly Josh) are working hard to get everything done before that time. This weekend included getting the kayak hanging from the rafters in the garage instead of taking up half the garage space (Thank you Connie!!!!) Everytime I walk into the garage, I smile at how organized and clean my garage is (at least for a little while before it fills up with baby, then toddler, then kid stuff!)
