It appears that I started this post 11 weeks ago and am just now getting back to it! Mikayla is now 18 weeks old and showing more and more personality every day! She is quite the little cutie ba tootie and auntie loves her snuggle time with the little sweetie.
Mikayla made her wonderful arrival on Sunday, July 28th, 2013 after keeping us all waiting during 50 hours of labor!!! Michellie's water broke at noon on Friday and after many long hours of labor for her mommy and jlots of sitting, sleeping, pacing, waiting, etc in the waiting room for her family, Mikayla finally made her appearance around 2 pm on Sunday afternoon! This tired mommy isn't going to lie, I quite enjoyed the opportunity to sit and rest for a few days but I think everyone else got a little TPB (Tired Poor Butt). Either way, Mikayla was a happy and healthy little girl so it was well worth the wait!
I would love to add a picture of little Mikayla as a newborn here but I think my only picture was from my phone, not my camera. I'll have to make sure to add pictures later on tonight! :-)
