Spring Fun!!!

Wow!!! It's been a long time since I have written and we have been doing a lot! I think the first two things that come to mind are that Josh and I got a kayak and I took a cake decorating class.

Josh and I got a kayak this spring!!! We have been wanting one for a while and with the money we got from our family for Christmas, finally got one this year! Thank you to Mom and Dad, Connie, Dave and Dodie, Grandma Curran, Grandma and Grandpa Whichard, and the Dragovich's! We have enjoyed kayaking on Folsom Lake and Lake Natoma in town and just love it! Dave and Dodie came up this past weekend to join us for a kayak/fishing trip on Folsom Lake this weekend. We ended up being out on the water for 5 hours, using a bottle of sunscreen, and still ending up RED!!!

During the month of March, I took a cake decorating class in Placerville every Wednesday night. It ended up being more of a private lesson than a class since I was the only student! It was lots of fun and great to get back to cake decorating after so many years (I took a class when I was in 4-H many years ago!) Here are some of my cakes...

It was a fun experience and hopefully I can take another class in the near future!

Guess that's about all for now! It's getting late and I need to get to bed. Hopefully everyone is doing well and I will try to be a little better about writting.
