Can you believe it has been 12 years since a cute almost 15-year-old boy asked a just turned 14-year-old girl if she "maybe wanted to like kinda hang out this summer?" I never would have imagined 12 years ago that this is where Josh and I would be now but am so thrilled that we are here! He is the best husband, best friend, and everything! Anyway, to celebrate our "12 year anniversary" this weekend, we spent time just hanging out together and having a weekend to relax! Friday evening we took Captain and McKenzie for a walk then randomly met up with Michelle, Ashley, and Greg for dinner at a little, local mexican restaurant. Josh then agreed to take me to the most recent chick flick which was cute. Yesterday was our neighborhood garage sale so we walked around a found a few things we couldn't live without! Lunch was Jamba Juice while sitting on a rock in the river and watching the ducks fight over our pretzel. Here is the view of the new bridge from our rock (I love this view!)

Yesterday evening we got to meet De Ette's new fiance at the Rivercats' game! We loved him immediately because he is bringing De Ette back to CA and only an hour from us!!! He was a great guy and even spoiled us with hot chocolate! As you can see, it was a little chilly!

We can't wait for De Ette to move out here so we can have fun with her too!

Josh and I just got some yard work and house work done followed by a yummy lunch outside. We picked tons of cherries from our tree and are thinking about trying to make a cherry pie! Wish us luck! Before that, we are going to take the kayak out on the lake to enjoy some sunshine and get a good tan for all the weddings coming up this summer!
