Two weeks already!

Wow, it's been two weeks already!!! Time has flown but we have learned so much! James is a great eater and also a great sleeper which is wonderful! He weighed in at a nice and chubby 9lbs. 8oz. yesterday which I was so thrilled with! The best part is that he is gained weight well and we aren't waking him up at night to eat. He went 4.5 hours two nights ago and 5.5 hours last night without eating which meant Mommy got to sleep that long which was wonderful! Now we just have to hope that it continues and Mommy has to learn not to wake up at every wimper!

Other milestones for the week...

- James lost his umbilical cord on Saturday which was very exciting!

- Mommy and Daddy are getting better at changing diapers without messes and faster at the whole process!!!

- James got and got rid of his first diaper rash. Drying the toosh before putting Desitin on makes a world of difference in case anyone wants to know. (Thanks Crystal!)

- We got to go for our first tour of Folsom at 10pm to try to calm James down. It worked but he woke up 5 minutes after we got home because he was hungry!

- James loves to dance and sing (or whatever you would call Mommy and Daddy's attempts at singing!)

- James has a new elephant friend who visits with him while he gets his diaper changed. James loves to look at his bright colors and hear his crinkly belly. (Thank you to Grammie Connie for the great present and thank you to Grandma Kim for the wonderful idea!)

And, of course, he is as cute and precious as ever!!! That's about all for now. Off to bathe the little man which he is not a fan of but needs to be done nevertheless. Hope everyone is doing well!! Love to all!!!
