James is doing more and more fun stuff every day!!! The most recent are...
* Sitting up very well all by himself! A bigger baby even tried taking a toy away from James the other day and James held onto it and kept his balance! Go James!!!!
* Taking a bath in the big boy bathtub! I think this is great fun because I just get to watch James having a great time but Josh tells me that it is very challenging because one hand is for holding James up and the other for washing him.
* Sitting in the grocery cart!!! James got to sit up in the grocery cart all by himself at Safeway today (except for the times when Mommy snatched him out to get some snuggles in!)
* Discovering and loving balloons! I noticed at Safeway today that James found the bright balloons tied to each checkout. I let him play with a bright shiny pink one and he LOVED it! I decided we better get a balloon to play with at home and found out that Safeway will give a free balloon to little kids. So cool!
* Only taking 2 naps a day (maybe). James is pondering the thought of only taking 2 naps a day instead of his customary 3. His first two naps are becoming longer and the third one is stretching later into the evening and making his bedtime later so we are thinking about ditching it! We'll see how it goes!
* Hoping to go to his first Cal game on Saturday in his super cute Halloween costume but the weather may not be agreeing. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it turns out to be a nice day and we can spend a fun day at the stadium. Cross your fingers for us!
* Thinking about teething, maybe... He has become a fuss-bucket the past few afternoons and we don't know why. We are thinking teething possibly but not really sure. I guess we just keep checking for teeth and giving him cold toys to chew on. We'll keep you posted!
I guess that's about all for now! I should probably try to get some new pictures up soon and have his 6 month pictures taken but that hasn't happened yet. Maybe soon! I hope everyone is doing well! Love to all!
