Cal Game... not!

Josh, James, and I were supposed to go to our first Cal game all together today but the rain gods did not agree with us. There was a 70% chance of rain today at the game so James and I decided to stay home to play with Grammie, Auntie Jill, Cousin Cion, G-ma-ma, and Grandpa while Josh went to the game with Kevin. We were kind of bummed at first, especially since there was NO rain for quite a while, but then it started at halftime and rained the rest of the game so it was a good thing we stayed home. Josh came home soaked but still enjoyed watching Cal cream ASU.

The evening was topped off with a fun family dinner at Grammie's. Connie, thank you for the delicious food and dessert (my stomach is WAY TOO full). Jill, thank you for the yummy homemade tacos. And thank you to Mom, Dad, Billa, Jeremy, Alfa, Connie, Jill, Cion, James, and of course Josh for the wonderful company! It was great to see everyone! Looking forward to seeing many of you for a yummy sounding breakfast in the morning too! James really topped off the evening by going to bed like an angel!!!! I think he was asleep by the time I got downstairs (so much better than the rocking, rocking, rocking, rocking... last night!)

Now for the James report...
* He got to show off his Halloween costume at Grammie's tonight which means we had a tiger and bear at dinner... oh my!
* James got to take a big kid bath with Cousin Cion today! Cion had already showered today but couldn't resist the chance to share a bath with his little cousin! I think he had his clothes off before he even made it to the bathroom!
* James is now army crawling much faster than he has been and finding all kinds of fun stuff that he never knew existed... coffee table clutter, backpacks, shoes, boxes, etc... welcome to baby proofing for us!
* James is sitting like a champ, though he is deciding that it is sometimes better to move to his belly so he can go after fun stuff!
* James decided again today that his third nap was over-rated but still was a pretty good boy the rest of the evening.

Guess that's about all for now. We thought about getting 6 month pictures taken today but there were no available appointments today so we will have to do that soon (before he becomes 7 months!) Love to all!!!
