Roseola

Unfortunately, my little man got Roseola (we think) shortly after getting home from Southern California. My poor little guy came down with a yucky fever (100-103 degrees) on Wednesday night that lasted until Friday night which was no fun! James and I got to snuggle together for two full nights in the guest bed and spend lots of extra days together (since he couldn't go to daycare) which was a first for us! Luckily, Auntie Michellie saved us on Thursday morning by watching James for a few hours so Mommy could teach a class at work... thanks Auntie Michellie!!!! Here are a few pictures from the whole ordeal...

Thursday morning started off pretty well by hanging out with Auntie Michellie and still feeling pretty good!!!!

That night James fell asleep in my arms at 6:30! Josh took a picture of this because it hadn't happened in MONTHS and I figured it wouldn't happen for a while again. It happened the next two nights!!! Such a wonderful feeling!

You can tell my little man isn't feeling well. We watched lots of Baby Einstein to get some resting out of James. On Friday night, James laid on the couch like this and watched Baby Einstein for 20 minutes!!!! Quite out of the ordinary for him but made getting dinner ready VERY easy!!

Thankfully the fever broke Friday night but the rash appeared Sunday morning. We are hoping that the rash will be gone soon and we will get our happy little boy back soon! Though I will miss all the snuggling I have been getting!
