Separation Anxiety

Well, as much as I hoped this wouldn't happen, we have finally encountered separation anxiety.  This morning as I was dropping James off at daycare, out of the blue he happily and matter-of-factly said "bye-bye" to me.  I asked if he wanted me to go and he shook his head "yes".  So, Mommy sadly forced herself to go off to work (even though what I really wanted to do was kick and scream that I wanted to stay and play too!)  It appears that James loves playing with his friends at daycare while Mommy is the one suffering from separation anxiety because I want to stay and enjoy the company of my precious little man.  Oh well, at least its only 4 months until I get to go on maternity leave and enjoy more time with my wonderful little guy(s)!!!!
