What a Wonderful Sunday!!!!

What a wonderful Sunday we all had today!!!  Of course, Josh said he would have enjoyed a little more relaxing but not much relaxing happens with 2 toddlers running around!!!  :-)  Here are a few pictures from our wonderful day...

Jack and Josh started their morning with a little walk to the grocery store for a few things, including a few donut holes!!!  Meanwhile, James and I got to have some special time snuggling on his floor and reading library books.  Once everyone was home, we all enjoyed a delicious breakfast of eggs, sausage, english muffin, and fruit!  And then a little quiet time reading the Sunday ads, playing alphabet games on the computer, and making banana bread....

 Next came a little craft time for the boys... I decided to be adventurous and let Jack paint too!  It could have been worse but he did get new clothes after the adventure!

 James loved getting to paint a birdhouse for Gaga and said that Jack's birdhouse was for G.G.

 Craft time was followed by a little warm, fresh baked banana bread and a little fruit.  Snack of champions!

 We then ventured out to Lake Natoma for a little fun in the sun with some of the families from my mommy's group.  The kids all gathered around to sing "Happy Birthday" to Miss Lauren and then enjoy a brownie compliments of Miss Megan!

 The kiddos loved getting to play in the sand and water for hours!!!!

 A kayak trips were made with a kayak full of toddlers!  They were all great and loved it!!!

 At one point we loaded all the kiddos into the kayaks for a cute picture!  I had no idea that there were 14 kids ages 3 and under there!  It was definitely a fun, enjoyable time, especially for the number of kids present!

Josh and I were hoping for two amazing naps from two very tired boys after hours of playing in the sand, water, and sun!  We were WRONG!!!!  Jack napped for almost two hours with a wake up in the middle and James didn't nap!  How did that happen???  Thankfully, he did play quietly in his room for an hour so we had a little quiet time for the house before all the fun started up again!

After "nap time" we went back down to the river (a different part) to enjoy a little walk/tricycle ride along the river.  (Aka: get out of the house so we could show it AGAIN! So tired of that!)  Since we thought the people were still at our house, we visited Jamba Juice for dinner...

 I think James had a little brain freeze here!  But he loved it regardless!!!

 Jack was such a big boy sitting in his own chair and loving his Jamba Juice!  Again, when did my little baby grow up so much!!!  (FYI: Jack's new favorite trick is climbing onto the kitchen chairs and helping himself to an orange from the table or whatever else he wants!  Not ready for this!)

All in all, a wonderful day!  I couldn't ask for anything more!!!  I hope everyone else had a wonderful Sunday too!  Love to all!
