Before I forget... a quick Jonathan update! Jonathan is officially sitting well but it doesn't last long before he decides he needs to be off and moving! Talking about moving, Jonathan has the MOST unorthodox way of moving. I have never seen anything like it before. He uses his legs to slide his head along on the ground. And, if he wants to stop to play with something, he stands up on his legs with his head on the ground and uses his hands to play with a toy under his belly. No joke! It's crazy to watch! Two days ago, he even went from his belly to his crazy "downward dog" yoga position to sitting. Jonathan is starting to stand while holding onto furniture but Mommy always stays close because he's not very stable yet (and I'm scared of him falling on the hardwood floors). He will take steps/walk a few feet while holding our hands or holding onto a toy with Daddy supporting his balance too. The other day Jonathan was standing at the ottoman with me when he saw the walking toy he wanted... so, he turned, let go with one hand, and took a step like he was just going to walk over and get the toy! Crazy boy!!! This Mommy is NOT ready to have another mobile boy! Though Jonathan is starting to get around better and better, he still stays in the same room I leave him in thankfully! Though he is starting to take his brothers toys! Oops!
Jonathan continues to eat up a storm! He is not a huge fan of milk but LOVES his food! He consistently out eats Jack even. (Though I guess that's not saying much since Jack isn't a big eater!) And, Jonathan got his first tooth today so who knows what is going to happen now that he is going to have chompers to chew up all that yummy food instead of just gumming it to death! :-)
And... the most exciting part for Mommy (I really hope this doesn't curse it!), Jonathan has slept though the night for the past two nights! I could get used to sleeping again! A solid 6-7 hours seems like heaven to me right now, though I wouldn't mind even longer than that! :-)
I think that's about all for now... lots more updates but this Mommy is going to try to get to bed and hopefully enjoy a solid 7 hours of sleep! Love to all!!! :-)
