So much fun today!

I am the luckiest Mommy!  I had a wonderful day with my boys today who said and did the most wonderful things!
James has been asking me to go to a car race so we looked up the schedule for the All American Speedway in Roseville today.  I suggested that he and Daddy go to a race during their "special weekend" (the weekend that I am taking Jack and Jonathan to Vegas to visit my best friend while James and Josh say home).  James told me that after the car race, he and Daddy were going to buy me flowers.  I asked him why they were going to buy me flowers and he said, "Because we love you!" (In a very emphatic tone!)  Way to make a Mommy feel LOVED!!!!
Josh had to work late tonight so I had Jack and Jonathan upstairs in the hallway getting ready for bed while James was playing downstairs in the playroom by himself.  It was so cute to see Jonathan crawl (okay, scoot on his head) over to the banister and screech down to James until James came to say hi to him.  He would do it over and over again then smile from ear to ear when James looked up and said hi to Jonathan!  So adorable!  I love brotherly love!  At one point, James came upstairs to say hi to Jonathan, then went in his room to get a new book that he can read all by himself, then sat down next to Jonathan and read him the whole book.  I loved seeing the brotherly love and loved listening to James sound out words!  Then Jack went into his room and came back with a few books.  When I asked Jack if he wanted me to read to him, I got a definite, "No, I read Jonathan!"
Jack was too cute in bed tonight too... after I put him to bed, he talked to himself for a while (typical Jack style).  I don't usually listen to what he is saying but tonight I watched on the monitor as he "called Daddy" on his "hand phone" several times... "Daddy, you on your way home? (Pause) Okay! Bye Daddy!"  "Daddy, you home tomorrow night? (Pause) Okay, bye Daddy!"  "Daddy, you car at work?  (Pause) Okay, bye Daddy!"  Too cute!!!!
Jonathan's little schootches have turned into full on sliding across the floor.  He made a bee-line across the playroom tonight for the matchbox cars dumped all over the floor.  So cute to see him moving so quickly but kind of nervous about the fact that he slides on his head and runs his head into things. (Not good for this brain injury PT mommy!)  Hopefully he will discover the art of crawling on hands and knees soon!  He also pulled up to stand (on the dinosaur, of course!) for the first time today!  He's getting bigger!  And best of all, he LOVES his brothers like crazy!  :-)
Okay, enough gushing for one night!  Off to bed for me!  Hope everyone is doing well!  Love to all!!!
