Okay, I couldn't resist... A few cute pictures from last week that I wanted to post that night but ran out of time...
James and Jack got some new paints for their birthday from my friend Kourtney and they were enjoying them by 7am!
And of course Jonathan had to join in because he can't be left out of anything his brothers are doing! (The current benefit of this is that he loves trying to go potty in the big boy potty and actually went poop in the potty twice last week! Fingers crossed but not holding my breath that we'll be out of diapers some time soon!)
And more on my independent, older than he thinks, youngest little man... He did not finish his dinner the other night but still wanted a cookie! (The rule in our house is that you have to finish your "grow food" if you want a "trick or treat" or dessert after lunch or dinner.) Well, Jonathan wasn't too keen on that rule the other night so he decided to take matters into his own hands! He pulled out the stool and was going to get those cookies!
He was actually successful in getting the cookies down and then employed the assistance of his oldest brother to open the container for him. Very ingenious I must say... but Mommy still took the cookie out of his hand and returned the container to the counter! I did not have a happy camper but he got over it!
Jonathan is completely infatuated with James and was absolutely thrilled to death when James climbed in his crib the other night to read books to him!
Jonathan got a little distracted by the blanket...
Jack decided that he needed to join them...
Jonathan got a little closer to say hi! Those of you with 3 boys probably know where this is going...
And the wrestling match ensues...
Just before they all start getting pulled out of the crib!! By the time I pulled Jack out, Jack was bear-hugging onto Jonathan and every time I pulled Jack up, Jonathan came too! I was quietly wondering to myself, "How long until they stop wrestling with each other all the time???" Which made me think of this picture...
I guess that's my answer! :-)
