One month?!?!?!

My sweet baby James is already a month old!!! Wow, time flies!!! Most exciting thing... I am currently enjoying an hour to myself as James and Joshie drive out to Granite Bay to get our edger! So nice! But it will be so nice for them to get home because it doesn't take long for Mommy to miss her precious little baby. James has definitely had an eventful first month of life but what else can be expected with Josh and I as parents. The last month has included...
- A trip to the park when I was 4 days old for my friend, Emma's, 1st birthday party. Our birthdays are only one day apart!!!
- A several day trip to the Bay Area, complete with: 3 meals at restaurants during which he was always an angel, his first baby shower of several this summer, and a trip to the park with 60 4th and 5th graders.
- Many, many, many walks around the neighborhood and town with our friends.
- Cheering Daddy on at his softball games, including a double-header this week.
- Lots of errands around town.
- Mommy and me group every Tuesday morning (which is usually an adventure getting there by 9:30!)
Guess that's about all! Still lots of fun stuff to do this summer but we have to wait until we get the a-okay from the doctor for trips to the mountains and being around lots of people.

James is doing a great job holding his head up during tummy time. This was James this morning trying to get a peek at the new toy I got him which I put right in front of him.

James got yummy milk from Daddy this morning. Joshie wasn't exactly expecting this picture to be taken and was hoping for a little more sleep than being up at 7am on Saturday morning but welcome to parenthood!

James and Isa (Colleen's daughter) have become friends (and much more if it was up to Colleen - I am trying to save James from an arranged marriage this young!) This was them hanging out at Mommy and me group last week.

James was very excited to meet his Cousin Cion and can't wait until he is old enough to play with him. Cion did a great job of holding James and James loved it!

Guess that's about all for now! Josh and James just got home with a functioning edger (yeah!) but James is still sleeping so I am going to try to get a few more things done or maybe rest! Hope everyone is doing well! Love to all!

P.S. Quick note on size... As of last Tuesday, James was 10lbs. 11oz. clothed so I am guessing he weighs around 10 1/2 lbs or so. Most of his 0-3 month clothes fit but he has outgrown or barely fits in some already! Yikes!!!
