2 month check-up

My sweet, little, precious James had his 2 month check-up at the doctor's today. The doctor said he was as healthy as could be and looking great! (Of course, he is my little precious!) He weighed in at 12lbs. 13oz. and is 23.5 inches long which puts him in the 75th percentile for both. His head circumference was only in the 50th percentile but up from the 25% percentile when he was born (thank goodness it wasn't any bigger at birth!!!) He also got his little shots in his leg which he was not happy with... he screamed the whole way home in the car, then fell asleep 2 blocks before we got home. He quickly woke up after getting home, got a full belly, and is now sleeping peacefully in his crib. I am deciding that the chores won't go anywhere and to just sit and relax for a little while he sleeps! So nice!

Talking about sleep... James is sleeping wonderfully at night now (knock on wood!) Last night he didn't get a full feeding in at 8pm so I was worried that he would wake up early but he slept until almost 4am, ate, then went back to bed and slept until a little after 7am when I found him wide awake, cooing at his mobile in his crib. Such as sweet little boy to let his mommy sleep! Talking about cribs... it's always fun to see where he has moved to in his crib in the middle of the night! He usually likes to spin so he often switches head and foot position... such a mover!!!

Talking about moving... my favorite part of the doctor's visit this morning was telling the doctor that James rolled from his stomach to back twice last week. (He did it once and I was surprised so I put him back on his stomach to see if he could do it again and he did!) Just as the doctor was telling me that it was a little early and didn't think it would happen again, he turned around to see James roll from his stomach to his back on the examination table!!! I loved seeing the surprised look on the doctor's face!!!

Guess that's about all for now! I am hopefully going to enjoy some more relaxation time and maybe a quiet lunch before James wakes up! Hope everyone is doing well! Love to all!!
