James and I decided to try out storytime at the Folsom Library today and it was a huge success! James was great about returning his two books from last week. (I wasn't sure how this was going to go since one of our favorite words is: MINE!) Then we headed for storytime (I wasn't so sure how the whole sitting still thing would go) where James was wonderful! He was a little shy at first but by the end he ventured up to the front by himself. He then enjoyed picking out two new books and putting a few puzzles together. Then he carried his big book up to the front to check out and carried it out to the car. Of course, he had to sit down on the sidewalk the second we got out of the library to read his new truck book. (SOOO CUTE!!!!) I am hoping to make storytime at the library a regular Tuesday activity for us.
After the library, we headed to Trader Joe's where James was a wonderful helper! He pushed the "little helper" cart for mommy and put things into the cart. He even unloaded everything for the man at the register and pushed the cart to the door. It was just so wonderful to get to spend the day with James!!!!
