Thought this was the cutest little conversation today as James and I laid down together before nap time...
Mommy: Close your eyes honey. It's nap time.
James: I can't, there's comceep in them.
Mommy: There's what?
James: There's comceep in them!!!!
Mommy: What???
James: The sidewalk.
Mommy: Concrete???
James: Yeah! There's comceep in them!
Mommy: What do you mean?
James: There are bumpies in my eyes!
I think this is the toddler explanation of allergies. Last year when James and I raked leaves in mid-October, he was very light sensitive and had difficulty opening his eyes for a few days. Yesterday afternoon, we spent some time playing in the leaves and raking the leaves. He seemed to be doing fine with it yesterday but I was curious how the next few days were going to go. I think it's pretty safe to say that he has allergies. A little trip to the drug store for some eye drops may be in order... but I can't put them in my own eyes, how am I ever going to put them in his???
