James' first day of preschool was August 20th this year. He was quite excited about starting school and has been loving it! James got himself dressed on the first morning and as I was trying to get everyone ready for the day and myself ready for work, I asked James and Josh to go outside to get a "first day of preschool" photo of James... this is what I got! Not exactly what I was thinking but a wonderful picture never the less! :-)
Here is a much happier James! Mommy and Daddy took James to his first day of school. As the teachers were warning us about separation anxiety on the first day of school, I didn't worry too much because James is so outgoing. Unfortunately, I forgot to think about Jack. His big brother and favorite play buddy was leaving him 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. Jack was NOT happy about Mommy and Daddy taking James to school on the first day while he stayed home with Jonathan and Reesha. Thankfully, he has quickly gotten used to the idea and enjoying his quiet time to do other fun things!
