James' First Soccer Goal

I can't believe I have entered the world of "soccer mom"!  James started playing soccer this season and it's been "interesting" to say the least.  He is playing on a co-ed team and they are so much fun to watch.  James LOVES playing!  James is quite an intense little man so we were a little worried about him being too aggressive during the first game.  As Uncle B would say, "Not to Worry"... James ran around the field (nowhere near the ball) and karate-chopped the air!  If someone from the other team got near the ball, he would run over and roar in their face to scare them away from the ball!  Well, that's one way to play soccer I guess!  :-)  

Gaga, Papa, Auntie Miche, Uncle Gary, and Cousin Mikayla were all kind enough to come watch James during his second soccer game this past Saturday.  James was a completely different player this weekend, he was right in the mix with everyone and did a great job of getting the ball.  He even scored 4 goals (2 for us and 2 for the other team... but that's still 4, right?)  After the first goal he scored, he was so excited that he ran over to all of us to celebrate and Jack ran to James to congratulate him, they ran into each other's arms yelling and gave each other big bear hugs as they fell to the ground!  It was so wonderful to see them celebrate together and for Jack to be so excited for James!  :-)  I can only hope that they continue to be so close and love each other so much!  :-)
