State Fair Fun

Michelle, Gary, Josh, James, and I had a fun evening at the California State Fair today!!! Michelle, James, and I drove out this afternoon and the guys met us there after work. It was fun to just walk around and enjoy the different exhibits and animals at the fair. There were some darling newborn calves and piglets who were so cute!!! The definite highlight of the fair was Gary noticing a small problem while I was holding James in the Baby Bjorn... it included poop on my shirt, down my shorts, on the Baby Bjorn, down James' leg, and dripped on the floor!!!! Fun stuff!!! We got James all cleaned up with new clothes and cleaned everything else the best we could with baby wipes. Go James!!!!

We are now playing the "how many times can you flip me back over game". Here is how it works... we put James on his back to go to sleep, he rolls onto his stomach and starts crying, we go in a turn him back over, by the time we get back to the office, he is on his stomach and crying again, so we turn him back over, and the game starts all over again! We are now on 4 turn overs thus far tonight. Eventually, he will get tired enough that he will just fall asleep on his stomach but who knows how many turn overs it will take!!! That's five now and he's almost back on his belly again!!!

James' two new favorite things are riding in the Baby Bjorn because he gets to watch everything that is going on and he gets to suck on the top of the carrier! He also loves his exersaucer because he can stand and play all by himself! It was so cute this weekend when Josh was giving James a bottle, James helped by putting his hand on the bottle also! Love it! Oh, he also started sucking on his toes this morning!!! Darling, but he didn't do it long enough for me to get my camera!!!

I measured James this morning and he is about 26.5 inches long! I will weigh him again tomorrow at our group and let you all know how much he weighs. He weighed 14 lbs. last Tuesday.
