James went poo-poo in the big boy potty tonight!!! We were outside and I noticed that he was trying to go poo-poo but only gas was coming out. (Which he thought was pretty cool too!) Anyway, I asked him if he wanted to go poo-poo in the big boy potty and he said yes and started walking into the house. He sat down on his potty and we played a little game on Mommy's phone. Before I knew it, he has gone poo-poo in the big boy potty!!! We made quite a big deal about it!!!! It was so exciting!!! I know it is quite early for potty training and it was just lucky cirumstances but it is still exciting to see James make the connection between the potty and going poo-poo!!!
Other fun from today... James LOVES his little buddy, Nico, at daycare! Last week when we got there, he walked around the house looking for "Nino" who wasn't there yet. Today when I got there to pick James up, he gave Nico a few big hugs! So cute!!!!
Another cute story from last week... Desiree said that James wasn't tired for his nap yet so he sat on the couch with her and watched Tom & Jerry as the big kids fell asleep. She was so impressed because James seemed to follow the story and laugh at appropriate times. I thought that was darling!!!
Anyway, off to do some chores before an early bedtime hopefully! Love to all!!!
