Test, test, test!!!!

On those days when James is driving me crazy, I will say, "You are driving me crazy today!!!  Are you testing me?!?!??!" in a silly voice.  James will then respond by saying, "Test, test, test!!!"  Well, today was one of those days when Jack was driving me crazy because he wanted to be held ALL DAY LONG.  This afternoon, I started saying, "Jack you are driving me crazy!"  So James responded by saying, "Test, test, test!!!" to me.  He then said, "You test me Mommy!"  So I had to say, "Test, test, test!!!" back to him.  It was so cute that he wanted me to 'test' him!

Another super cute story... As we sat down to dinner tonight, James looks at Josh and says, "How your day work Daddy?"  So sweet!!!  After Josh replied, James asked, "How dentist?"  (Josh had just come home from the dentist.)  It was so sweet of James to ask about Daddy's day and remember that he had a dentist appointment.

And another cute story... (my kids do the cutest things!) Jack and I were at the table finishing dinner, Josh was washing dishes (maybe this is why I was taking a little longer at the table than needed), and James had gone into the play room.  All of the sudden, James comes running into the kitchen yelling, "NO, NO, NO!!!" I had no idea what was going on until he went running over the Captain's bowl.  It seems that he thought he had heard someone else feed Captain and he knew that was his job (aka, he loves feeding Captain after dinner!).  Thankfully it was a false alarm and James still got to feed Captain!  Disaster averted!!!!

Jack has a new love... books!!!!  I wish I could say that he loved reading them (which he actually does enjoy) but his true love is chewing on them!  I am thinking that it's safe to say that he is probably teething because EVERYTHING goes in his mouth for him to chew.  Talking about everything going in his mouth, Jack must be going through his 6 month growth spurt too because he is eating like crazy!!!!  I think he has had close to a 1/2 cup of oatmeal/rice cereal today, 4 ice cubes of food, and close to 1/2 a banana!  I think I may have to get a second job to keep up with feeding these boys in high school!

I think that's about all for now!  Both boys are in bed and will hopefully be asleep momentarily.  That means that Josh and I have almost 2 1/2 hours of "quiet" time tonight!  I think I can handle that!

P.S.  Go A's!!!!!!
