"You have three choices..."

Josh got home from work late tonight so when he got home James was super, super excited to play with Daddy!  After a short time of playing, it was time to take a shower or bath and then get ready for bed because it was getting late.  James wanted to play more so he refused to take a shower with Daddy. I showed James three fingers and told him, "You have three choices: you can take a shower with Daddy (as I pointed to my index finger), you can take a bath (as a pointed to my middle finger), or you can go to bed (as I pointed to my ring finger)."  I guess James didn't like any of those choices because his response... "What about these?" (as he pointed to my pinky and thumb!)  I informed him that those weren't choices so he finally agreed to the shower.  His response just took me by shock and I loved it!!!!

Earlier in the evening, James and Josh were playing choo-choo's and I could hear them as I was doing stuff in the kitchen.  I loved this little conversation I heard...
Daddy: "Oops!  I knocked over the bridge."
James: "It's okay Daddy!  It happens!"
So sweet!!!!

Last night James and I were lying down in his bed when James realized that he needed Daddy for something so he called out "Daddy" twice.  Since Daddy didn't suddenly appear in the doorway like a magic genie, the call turned into "Josh, Josh, Josh!!!!"  So funny to hear James say that!!!!

James informed me tonight that he wanted to feed Jack.  So here's how it went...

Let's just say that it was a little messier than usual!!!!

I didn't even realize what a great shot this picture is.  Can you find the problem in this picture???

Unfortunately, I missed some great photo opportunities at dinner tonight.  I fed Jack green beans for the first time and let's just say that he gave some awesome faces!!!  Poor little man was not a huge fan so I gave him a few spoonfuls of banana afterwards to help wash down the green beans!

Hello... anyone there!?!?!?!?!  When needing to entertain a tired, crabby 6 month old for a few minutes while you grab PJs and a clean diaper - no need for toys, just grab the nearest tupperware lid!

Great for teething too!!!

I am SOOOO excited!!!!  Here is my blog so far!!!!!  This just motivates me to blog more and more so that James and Jack have all this to look back on.  (Who am I kidding... so I have all this to look back on with their wives!)
