James learned a new trick today! He went from his belly to sitting up all by himself!!! This wouldn't be so bad other than the fact that from sitting he call pull himself up to standing and the edge of the crib is the PERFECT height for that. So, if he gets all his motions down right, he could very possibly go from his belly to standing in his crib... time to lower the mattress again!
He also learned the fun new trick of peeing standing up in the backyard today! He has a yucky diaper rash so we have been going diaper-free most of the day. When we were playing with Captain in the backyard he learned his new trick, let's just say that Mommy is thankful that she was holding him facing out!
Another new fun game started on Sunday... he learned how to turn the water in the sink on and off! So much fun!!!
He has also started to eat yogurt. I think we ate about the same for lunch today... I ate a 6oz yogurt and a string cheese. James ate a 4oz yogurt, some zucchini and acorn squash, and some banana! No wonder he is growing like a weed!!! On Sunday, he weighed in at about 19 1/2 lbs. and 29 inches long. His carseat goes up to 22 lbs and 30 inches so there may be a carseat change happening soon!
Guess that's about all for now! I am going to take advantage of this naptime to get some stuff done around the house and hopefully relax a little too! Love to all!!!
