Halloween

Happy Halloween to everyone!!!  We celebrated Halloween for a few days this year!!!!  Halloween started with a fun party at the Magana's home.  It was a little late for our little man but he was a great little boy and had a wonderful time playing with all his friends!

We decided that James would be a great Bam-bam since he loves bats and loves to hit (though we continue to work on this!)  That meant that Josh and I should be Barney and Betty Rubble (Bam-Bam's parents) but Josh didn't want to wear a brown sack, so he decided to be Fred Flintstone.  So here we are as Bam-Bam, Betty, and Fred.  A big thank you to Michelle for making our costumes for us!!!!

Most of the kiddos from the Magana Halloween Party!!!  Such a great group of cuties!!!

Today we enjoyed two more Halloween parties!  We joined the Jarvis's and some of their friends for a playdate this morning.  Again, another great group of cuties!  You can see that the boys are too pleased that they had to sit down to take a picture before they were allowed to go outside to play.

Tonight we headed across the street to join our neighbors and some of their friends for a little potluck dinner followed by trick or treating.  James had a great time playing outside with all the kiddos and would have much rather continued playing basketball than having to put his costume on again and go trick or treating!  James was a little nervous about going up to the front doors to go trick or treating and enjoyed choosing who he wanted to go with him to each door (Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Michelle, or Uncle Gary).  All in all, the decorations in the yards were MUCH more entertaining than trick or treating.  I think he ended the night with a whopping 8 pieces of candy which I think are almost gone (with the help of Mommy, Daddy, Auntie, and Uncle of course!)  James had much more fun playing at home after trick or treating, other than the doorbell ringing, causing the doggie to bark, and James to get scared!  I have never seen James get so scared like that (but I kind of have to admit that part of me liked it because he would come running to me for a hug each time!)  By the end of the night, we learned that the doorbell ringing and dog barking just meant that there were more cute kids dressed up at the door to say hi!  Anyway, a wonderful Halloween overall!!!!  Hope everyone else had a wonderful Halloween also!  Love to all!
