First Day of Daycare

Today was James's first full day of daycare! I was nervous, especially because our trial last week did not go very well to say the least because James refused to take a nap and was not a very happy boy. Well, we've been working on that and today was our test! He took 3 one hour naps at daycare today and then fell asleep on the car ride home. Desiree, the daycare person, said he was 110% better than last week!!! Good boy!!! She said he is a very happy boy unless he is tired or hungry! That's my Slade boy! I was even a good mommy and only called once to check on him! Go me! It was a bummer that I only got to see him for a short time tonight before it was bedtime. He made it even worse by playing in his crib for 10 minutes before falling asleep. I wanted to go in there and play with him but kept having to tell myself that I was teaching him good sleep habits and that we can play in the morning. (Not fun!) But, it all paid off because he was a great little boy falling asleep tonight too. As a said, he played for 10 minutes then took FOREVER to roll over onto his belly (his arm kept getting stuck so it took about 15 times before he got it) and fell asleep with about 5 seconds of fussing. So proud of him!!! Hopefully that will carryover into naps eventually! Guess that's all the new news for today! I can't imagine how much I am going to miss him by Friday evening when I get off work but then I have 5 days to play before I have to go back to work!!!! Love to everyone!!!
Oh yeah, and baby Tyler is coming soon!!! Ashley is in labor so we are waiting!!!!! Can't wait to meet you little guy!
