Boo-boo

As we were going to sleep tonight, James informed me that he had a boo-boo on his foot from playing ring around the tosie.  (Funny that it was on his left foot, because last week his right foot was hurt from playing ring around the rosie!)  Anyway, I kissed it several times but the boo-boo was still there.  I asked if he needed an ambulance (because we have been talking about what ambulances are for) and he told me "no".  But he said he did need a fire truck.  I asked what he needed the fire truck to do and he then told me that he needed a fire truck and an ambulance to kiss his boo-boo!  Do you think a fire truck and ambulance would be willing to come out here to kiss my little boy's foot???  (Just kidding, don't worry!!!)  Thankfully I was able to convince him that his foot was okay and he could go to bed!

James got a book in the mail from a book exchange that we are doing.  I asked him what he thought the book was about and he said, "Train, lion, tiger, toucan, strawberries, croutons..."  Quite the interesting list of ideas!!  We opened the package and learned that the book was about doggies made out of food.  One of the doggies was bowling.  A few pages after the bowling doggie, James's eyes lit up and he said, "I hit pins!"  I couldn't figure out what he was talking about at first but was excited to find out what made him so excited!  It was his bowling date with Daddy last week!  I have to admit that I was a little sad that it was something with Daddy and not Mommy but still thrilled that he was so excited about something!  I guess that means that we need to go bowling again soon!

Forgot to mention that Jack had a little check up at the doctor yesterday for his "little boy" surgery.  Everything looks good and he healed great!  He is weighing in at 10lbs. 6oz. and is continuing to grow as he is eating constantly.  But, as a friend reminds me... off of me and on to you!  (The more milk I make for Jack, the more calories I am burning!)

I was able to get out of the house in 2 hours the past two mornings!  We'll see how fast we can get out of the house tomorrow because tomorrow is a daycare day and Mommy group.  The boys' and my clothes are out and ready so I am keeping my fingers crossed for a speedy morning.  Though I am already missing my little man just thinking about taking him to daycare tomorrow.  :-(

Hope everyone has a great night, Friday, and weekend!  Love to all!!!  Good night!
