Well, I think I mentioned recently that James has lost all interest in using the potty. We were quite bummed about this because he was doing so well but decided that he knows what he needs to do and to let him decide when he was ready (within reason of course!). Well, tonight as I was about to say good night, he decided that he needed to use the potty. I figured this was just an excuse to put off bedtime a little but decided to go with it because I wanted to encourage it. Lo and behold, he not only peed but he also pooped in the potty! I was so proud of him for initiating it and going! He has been telling us for a while when he goes poo-poo in his diaper but I have noticed the last few days that he is also mentioning when he goes pee-pee. Maybe we are getting somewhere! I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
We are doing lots of waiting and seeing lately! Baby Jack keeps pretending like he is going to arrive (lots of Braxton-Hicks contractions, even some uncomfortable ones, and even some 15 minutes apart) but nothing yet! All the contractions end up going away after a short period of time and Jack just continues to get bigger and bigger in Mommy's belly. Last night I finally resorted to sleeping on the couch because it was so much more comfortable than the bed. Thankfully he has dropped even lower in my belly which means less TUMS (yeah!!!) but A LOT more peeing! All part of the joys of pregnancy! Every night, we say maybe tonight and every morning, we say maybe today but so far no such luck! But maybe tonight!!!! We'll make sure to keep everyone posted! Love to all!!!
