Oh my goodness!!! James continues to be such a little cutie pie! When I gave him his oatmeal this morning, he said "thank you Mommy!". Talk about melting the heart!!!!
This morning we were playing in a little grassy patch and James picked a flower and brought it over to me. Again, SO SWEET!!! He then took it back and held onto it for a while, until it was replaced by a handful of rocks! Boys will be boys!!!
James also went all day (other than a little naptime accident due to a 3 hour nap) with dry and clean underwear!!!! Such a proud mommy!!!
And, James read his first book all by himself today! We borrowed a cute little book from the library a few months ago which James remembered and wanted to borrow again today. We were lucky enough to find it at the library again today! We read it a few times today and then he read it himself tonight! The book is just saying what the animals were wearing and then the last one has the clothing item on incorrectly and you say "oopsie!" So cute!
The not so cute part.... it's 9:45 and James is still trying to fall asleep! He has been in bed since 8:15 but no luck so far! I guess it just takes some people longer than others!
Okie dokie, off to get a few things done before bed and then to bed for a good night sleep hopefully! Love to all!!!!
