I think it has been a while since I have blogged... I guess that means that we have been busy again! Well, I guess not that long, only a week and a half but a lot has happened in the last week and a half!
Last Monday, we enjoyed the State Fair with Auntie Miche and Uncle Gary. We enjoyed walking around the fair and each had a favorite thing. James's absolute favorite thing was the MONSTER TRUCK!!!! There was an actual monster truck that you could pay to ride on. According to Mommy, James was too short to go on it and needed to be big like Cion. When is is big like Cion, he will need to be big like Daddy. And, when he gets big like Daddy he will need to be big like Cousin Sam (a.k.a. 6'8") to go on the monster truck. I.e. This Mommy does not want her little boy riding on a huge monster truck like that! Luckily, we convinced him that the welded-down, slow moving, unable to crash or fall cars that go around in a circle were just as exciting as the cool monster truck!
James also enjoyed all the animals... horses, cows, sheep, goats, fish, rabbits, chickens, chicks, pigs, etc. He said his favorite was the bunny rabbits. And he thought it was pretty cool that he got to "pet" a fish!
Daddy and Gary's favorite was the food!!! It is always quite a challenging decision for them on what one awesome fair food to buy for dinner. This year the winner was some yummy BBQ of some sort. I don't remember exactly because they ate it so fast!
My favorite was the art entries. I always enjoy seeing all the amazing different things that people create, photograph, draw, sew, bake, etc.
Jack's favorite was Mommy's snow cone! Don't worry... he didn't get any but he did have huge eyes that were fixed on the scoops going from the cone to Mommy's mouth (and right up and over his head since he was in the Baby Bjorn!)
And.... drum roll please... Michelle's favorite.... NOT getting pooped on!!!! When we went to the State Fair two years ago, Michelle was carrying James in the Baby Bjorn and all the sudden there was poop dripping down James's leg and onto the floor!!! This year, Michelle braved the Bjorn with Jack and survived "poop free!"
Some cute pictures...
Jack chillin in Mommy's lap while Auntie Miche chased James around and we waited for Gary and Daddy to get there after work.
James not being to sure of the fair mascot. Okay to look but not getting too close!
The men with the kids! So cute!
The cute little family!!! Wait... that's my little man!
Family picture!
Cute self-portrait of the sisters!
Cute self-portrait of the cute couple!
Happy boy! You can see his beautiful blue eyes here... we'll see if they stay!
