Cal vs. USC

Our friends, the Pearts, came and spent this past weekend with us!  James loved having his friends here to play with all the time (and so did we!)  As I was putting James to bed tonight, he told me... "I miss my Lucas and my Ryan and my Peart and Crystal."  So sweet!

Josh and Chris really wanted to watch the Cal vs. USC game on Saturday afternoon but we didn't have the Pac-12 channel for them to watch it on.  They were going to go to a bar to watch it until we found out that the Magana's had that channel.  That resulted in us inviting ourselves (and the Pearts) over to watch the game at their house on Saturday.  The Carothers and Colleen's parents decided to join us also.  That means we had 5 toddlers, 2 infants, and a newborn!!!!  And 10 adults!  Amazingly, the whole evening went pretty darn smoothly and everyone had a great time!!!

The trampoline is always a hit!  At one point we had all five toddlers on the trampoline at once until we instituted the "only 3 at a time" rule.  Joey loved watching them all jump and jumping himself!

 The guys watching the game!
Chris had to enjoy the game from the fireplace.

Crystal, Joe, Colleen, and Isa enjoying the yummy food!

Jack enjoying his yummy food!  This little stinker wouldn't let me feed him because he kept stealing the spoon!  He ended up a disaster but enjoyed it so that's all that counts!

Only snafu of the night... James stepped on a bee and got a bee sting on the bottom of his foot.  This resulted in a trip to the doctor's office because I didn't know why his foot was swollen, hard, and bright red but after talking a little to Colleen, I realized that the little pokey I pulled out of his foot was a bee stinger.  Even though his foot looks nasty, he is being a trooper and playing as usual!

After a full weekend of playing, James fell asleep in the car before noon on Monday!  I was shocked and slightly worried but he was just a very tired bear after a fun-filled weekend playing with his friends!
