Baby Jack Update

Well, I have made it to 33 weeks and I am definitely counting the days of work left and days until due date!!!!  Days of work left: 10 (including 2 days sitting on my behind at a conference!)  Days until due date: 49!  I am so looking forward to having a month (or so) off before little Jack arrives to spend with James and hopefully get some much needed rest before the insanity begins!  Back to being prego: I am measuring on the smaller end of normal (though I certainly don't feel it).  I measured normally with James the whole time and he was huge so I am hoping that measuring slightly smaller this time will mean that Jack is a little smaller!!!  I'll keep my fingers crossed!  Oh yeah, and because James was a big guy, my OB is going to do an ultrasound around 36 weeks to take a look at Jack's size.  No 10 lb newborn around here please!!!  I have also done a much better job this time around at watching my diet so I have gained 10 lbs less thus far than I had with James, hopefully it means that it's that much easier to lose too!!!  Again, I'll keep my fingers crossed!  Other than all of that, I am definitely feeling older, weaker, more stretched out, or something like that as compared to my pregnancy with James.  With James, I had no problem running a couple hundred yards at 36 weeks, this time around I ran across the parking lot at 30 weeks and felt it for the next few hours!  With James, I was walking 3-5 miles per day until 39 weeks and only stopped because I hurt my foot, this time around I am limiting myself to 2-3 miles at only 33 weeks.  As they say, each pregnancy is different!!! 

As far as being ready for Jack's arrival... I think we are getting pretty close!  The nursery is almost ready... I still need to do a little cleaning out of the closet and wash the clothes/linen but that's about all.  The carseat is ready to be put in the car in a few weeks and the double stroller is waiting patiently in the garage. 

So, I'm hoping that I have thought of everything (though I know that it's never possible to remember everything) so we'll just wait and see!!!!
