Nice to meet you...

One of James's favorite books right now is a Mickey Mouse book named "The Goofed-Up Pet Shop".  In the book, Goofy watches the pet shop for Mr. Fuzzle and has a few chores to do in the pet shop.  In typical Goofy fashion, he gets the chores a little mixed up and walks the parrot and talks to the dog instead of talking to the parrot and walking the dog.  Anyway, as Goofy (or as James says, "Gucci") talks to the dog, he introduces himself.  Last night as I read this part, James sat up in bed, reached out his hand to me, and said "Nice to meet you.  I Jim (James's attempt at saying James)"  I was so surprised that he knew how to introduce himself like that but then I remembered that he and Auntie Lou Lou introduce themselves to each other all the time!!!  It was so cute to see him remember that in context when it has been about a month since we have seen Auntie Lou Lou.  When I was reading the book today at naptime, he did the same thing again.  I just had to share because he is growing up so fast and it is so much fun to see how amazing his memory is!!!!
