So proud!

I just had to share how proud I am of my little man... he knows so many colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, brown, and black at least most of the time) and has started counting very well!  I am continually amazed that he can count to 10 with decent accuracy, though we do occasionally miss a number or two here and there.  He still has Mommy impressed though!  And he is starting to enjoy songs to much more and try to sing them so much more!  His current favorite was "Rain, rain, go away" until tonight when Mommy sang "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" which I think may have won out!
James's memory has been impressing me so much lately that we decided to play the game Memory again today. I was quite impressed at how well James did playing the game though he still needed guidance on the rules, turn taking, and slowing down to think but all in all, I was quite impressed at how well he was able to remember which cards were which.  And I think he enjoyed it too because he asked to play again tonight with Daddy!
Thus far, I am loving being on maternity leave and am very much looking forward to the next 5 months!!!  Love to all!!!
