Josh went to a bachelor party in Sacramento on Friday night and decided to do the safe thing and spend the night at his friend's house so James, Jack, and Mommy got to have a little date on Saturday morning while we waited for Daddy to come home. It was a beautiful morning so I decided that a run was in order and why not enjoy a beautiful run along the river! We ended up driving to the library to return some overdue books. Then ran down to the river and along the river for a little while. We stopped to throw rocks of course, then ran back to the library and played at the park there for a little while. They have these really cute swings at the park that accommodate people of all abilities and my boys loved them! You can't really tell from this picture but they did actually enjoy them!
After the park, we headed over to the library for a few new books then home to meet Daddy for lunch. The afternoon was spent with James, Jack, and Daddy all taking 2-4 hour naps!!! Mommy napped for 30 minutes, then Jack woke up to eat, once he went back to sleep, I was expecting James to wake up so I didn't go back to sleep. I did get a chance to start a good book though which was wonderful and took another 30 minute nap after everyone woke up. Great day!!!!!
